2011 marks our 50th year of producing high quality cylinders and pistons for Harley-Davidson^® Motorcycles.

Our specialty is high-performance top end products for American V-Twin motorcycles. We have thousands of satisfied customers; riders just wanting to put an edge on their bike, riders who want to take it to an entirely new level, and professional all-out racers who use our products because they make big, reliable power race after race. Our products have set hundreds of performance records and milestones. In dragracing, our cylinders have been the first in the 10's-9's-8's-7's and 6's. Axtell and Dytch have had a large presence at Bonneville from the Cal Rayborn piloted streamliner to Aaron Wilson using our aluminum street cylinder to break 200 m.p.h.

We are a small company that basically custom machines all of our cylinders to match the needs of the customer. We try to shelf stock many of the common combination but in reality most of the time we know the customers name when we start working on the blank castings. Every Axtell cylinder is serial numbered and quality checked and clearances can be suited to the customer needs. Our cylinders are engineered to be strong and stable which is paramount when making REAL POWER.

Since we custom manufacture the majority of our cylinders it makes it impossible to "catalogue" and assign part numbers to every possibility. For that reason we created the Axtell Mountain Motor line which is custom tailored to your needs. If you don't see what you want in the site call and we will try to work up a combination for you.

Zippers Cam Chain Adjusters

These are one of the best new products we have seen in a long time. OEM hydraulic tensioners tip around while the engine is running and this causes oil to leak out and a loss of chain tension control. Zippers cam chain tensioners will help stabilize the valve train while reducing noise. By stopping the oil leaks and resulting pressure drops the piston oilers can supply more needed oil to the pistons. Sold as a pair these fit all cam plates that utilize hydraulic tensioners.

Stage 4 107 Kit 2007 & later

This is a great drop on 107 kit developed on our engine dyno. The power output measured @ the crankshaft was nearly 140 ft lbs of torque and 130 horsepower! What you get: A complete Axtell Mountain Motor cylinder kit with 20 degree dished pistons yielding 10.3 -1 compression. These pistons are the same design we use in our legendary 117 & 124 engines, Andrews 54 cam that will pull strong from 2000-5500 RPMS, Tapered pushrods and covers, A TTS engine management system with cable, a Cometic engine gasket kit, and last but not least a set of Baisley ported heads with 1.9 intakes and 1.630 exhaust sizes. Manual compression releases are installed. This portwork is performed to your castings or can be purchased outright or on an exchange basis when inventory allows. Finally we include 2 NGK sparkplugs,oil filter and 4 quarts of Mobil 1 20-50 V-twin oil.
